HerInteractive.com sells the official Nancy Drew computer games, which can be purchased and downloaded directly from the site or purchased online and delivered to your home. The games are rated "E" for Everyone, with a warning of mild violence and not recommended for kids under 10 years old.
Adventure Games
The "Nancy Drew Adventure" series games has junior and senior detective levels to allow for more or less challenging experiences. These point-and-click adventures involve complex problem-solving and feature fully-animated characters. Users can use the "second chance" feature to erase mistakes.
Titles include "Shadow at the Waters Edge," a ghost mystery set at a Japanese inn, and "Ransom of the Seven Ships," a kidnapping case in the Bahamas.
Dossier Games
There are two Nancy Drew Dossier games, for PC only, as of October 2010: "Lights, Camera, Curses!" and "Resorting to Danger!" These games are meant to be picked up and played easily with lots of clues, instant gratification and frequent rewards.
Wii
There is one game for the Wii console: "The White Wolf of Icicle Creek," set in the Canadian Rockies. You can use the Wii remote to interact with the wolf, throw snowballs, cook and ice-fish.
Mobile Mysteries
The Mobile Mystery "Shadow Ranch" was set to be released in December 2010, for use with the iPad, iPhone and iTouch. Users can tap and touch the screen to find phantom horses, catch a thief and discover lost mines.
