Transform a plain cloth napkin into table d cor using a candle fold. Use a simple technique to make a napkin look like a taper candle. Instructions
1. Lay a cloth napkin face-down on a flat surface, such as a table. Use your hand to smooth out any wrinkles.
2. Pick up the napkin's upper left corner and fold the napkin diagonally.
3. Position the napkin on the table so the triangle shape's flat edge faces you.
4. Fold the napkin's flat edge up 1 inch. Press the fold down firmly to flatten it.
5. Grasp one of the napkin's diagonal edges and begin rolling it toward the other side to form a cylinder shape. Create a tight, straight roll.
6. Fold the end of the napkin roll into the cuff at the base to create an even surface. Stand the napkin up on its end to resemble a taper candle.
