Black Watch Sailing Charters
Located in the city of Grapevine, Black Watch Sailing Charters offers chartered rides on a 38-foot blue sailboat called the Black Watch. The Black Watch services small parties of no more than six people including a BBQ picnic at $80 per person (as of October, 2010). The ship also offers romantic dinner cruises featuring a four- to five-course meal. The ship sails Lake Grapevine, and is captained by Captain Dave, who has spent his life sailing the world. His bosun's mate is his dog, Hatch.
Just for Fun Lake Grapevine
Party boats from Just for Fun come in two classes: casual party boats that seat up to 50 people and are suitable for birthdays or office parties and the Lone Star Lady, a luxury party boat that holds as many as 100 people. The casual party boat, Club Fred, does not provide food but does have a water slide on the top deck and propane BBQ tanks. The Lone Star Lady offers a large main cabin with seating for 60, kitchen, LCD projector and wet bar. The boats sail out of Silver Lake Marina, about a seven-minute drive from Grapevine.
JT's Boat Rentals
The See Breeze, JT's Boat Rental's flagship party boat, seats up to 40 people and cruises Lake Lewisville. The ship is a 2009 twin-engine catamaran with LED lighting for night cruises. Swim equipment, such as noodles and tubes, come with the boat rental, and the stereo system includes an iPod hookup. Beverages are not provided, and JT's offers recommended caterers. Nearby restaurants include Sneaky Pete's, a sports bar, caterer and banquet facility that also serves Sunday brunch with live music. JT's Boat Rentals is located 20 minutes north of Grapevine
