Luau party decor should be filled with vibrant colors and tropical flowers.
A lot of planning and decorations must go into setting the ambiance of a Hawaiian luau party. The party area should be filled with bold, bright colors and tropical flowers and fruits. Decorations can be found at department stores or party supply stores. Leis
Place leis of flowers around guests' necks as they arrive to the party, along with a cordial "Aloha" greeting. Leis can be handmade or purchased at a party supply store and can contain real or artificial flowers.
Flowers
Offer ladies a flower to place in their hair, and include tropical flowers throughout the party area. Place flowers behind the right ear if you are single and behind the left ear if you are taken, states The Hawaiian Luau (Resource 1). Place tea lights inside clear bowls and let them float along freely in pools, along with tropical flowers. Other decorations can include palm trees and bamboo.
