Restaurants On The Broadwalk In Hollywood

Hollywood is in South Florida and draws tourists to swimming activities in the Atlantic Ocean and restaurants on its Broadwalk. This walking path runs parallel to the Atlantic Ocean and runs by variety of seafood and international cuisine restaurants. Many of the restaurants on Hollywood's Broadwalk have open-air dining rooms with scenic views of the ocean. Does this Spark an idea?

Nick's Restaurant, Lounge and Raw Bar


The beachfront Nick's Restaurant is on the northern section of Hollywood's Broadwalk, only a few steps from the Hollywood Beach Theater. Seafood entrees include the fish and chips platter, steamed Maine lobster and linguini with clams and shrimp. Desserts include key lime pie and the Big Blitz, which is a Snickers cheesecake. The price range of entrees is $15 to $22, as of winter 2010. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere and the dining room has a stage for live music entertainment. Nick's is open every day of the year for lunch and dinner.


Istanbul Restaurant


Opened since 1991, Istanbul Restaurant is on South Broadwalk and faces the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant's menu features Turkish cuisine, such as kuzu pirzola -- or lamb chops -- lamb shish kebab and sigara boregi, which is a pie with feta cheese and fresh parsley. Soups include tripe soup and red lentil soup. As of winter 2010, the prices for food is $10 to $20. The restaurant has a laid-back attitude and the front of the dining room is open to the outdoor patio area. A television is available for watching European and Turkish soccer matches. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays through Mondays.


Sushi-Thai on the Beach


Situated on South Broadwalk, Sushi-Thai on the Beach faces the Atlantic Ocean on the corner of Broadwalk and Virginia Street. This Asian-influenced restaurant has a sushi bar with selections such as kani crab, saba mackeral and ebi shrimp. Thai specialties include panang curry with chicken, pork or beef and cashew nut shrimp. The price range for this restaurant, as of winter 2010, is $8 to $20 for specialities and entrees. Sushi selections run from $1 to $3 per piece. The dining room has Thai and Japanese-themed d cor; outdoor seating is available. The restaurant serves lunch on the weekdays and dinner is offered every night of the week.


Hollywood Grill


The Hollywood Grill, located on North Boardwalk, is within walking distance of local lodging, such as Angelfish Inn and St. Maurice Inn. The menu at this restaurant features European, Mediterranean and Armenian cuisine. One Armenian dish, khorovat, is a steak grilled on an open fire, while Mediterranean dishes include salmon kebab and sea bass kebab. The price range, as of winter 2010, is $25 to $35 for entrees. The restaurant has a trendy atmosphere and features plants and Armenian memorabilia on the dining room walls. Lunch and dinner is served every day of the week. The restaurant provides delivery and take-out services.
