Duff's was established in July 1972. As of August 2010, the restaurant held "Zagat" ratings of "very good to excellent" for its food, service and decor. The restaurant has a prix fixe menu that includes three courses and changes with the seasons. Among the entrees previously featured on the menu are seafood linguine, chicken marsala and pork chops with cornichon mustard sauce. The wine list is a past recipient of the "Award of Excellence" from "Wine Spectator" magazine and a member of the "Wine & Spirits" magazine "Hall of Fame." Duff's serves lunch and dinner daily, with the exception of Mondays, when the restaurant is closed. Reservations are taken by phone. Eau Bistro
Founded in January 2000, Eau Bistro is located in the Central West End's Chase Park Plaza Hotel. The restaurant received "Zagat" ratings of "very good to exceptional" for its food, decor and service. Eleven salads and appetizers lead the menu, such as the Missouri cheese plate, oysters on the half-shell and grilled hearts of romaine, anchovies and lotus root in a miso Caesar dressing.
