Traditional

A traditional veggie tray is always a hit with guests. Typically traditional veggie trays include vegetables like broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, celery and cucumber slices. The veggies are usually accompanied by some sort of dip, such as French onion or ranch dressing.

No Dip

While most vegetable trays are accompanied with dip, try seasoning them yourself and taking dip out of the equation. Mix your favorite herbs, like basil, rosemary or garlic, with a little olive oil and drizzle your veggies with it on a pan. Throw veggies into the oven to roast for 30 minutes then simply stick with toothpicks to serve.

Mexican Inspired

For a Mexican fiesta, try seasoning vegetables like green and red pepper slices, zucchini, and cauliflower, with a little taco seasoning and olive oil and roast them. Then pair your spicy veggies with queso, guacamole and sour cream to dip.

Tempura Tray

A tempura vegetable tray can be a hearty and delicious option to try. Use tempura mix to coat and fry up various vegetables, like squash, broccoli, sweet potatoes and cauliflower. For dipping you can offer soy sauce, ginger dressing or hot sauce.

Italian Inspired

If you want to give your vegetable tray an Italian twist, use vegetables like sliced up eggplant, squash and zucchini. Season them with a little rosemary and olive oil and roast. For dips you can use homemade pasta sauce, oil heated up with garlic and basil, and alfredo sauce.
