Fashion-themed games can be enjoyed at wedding parties and bridal showers.
Bridal showers are a common tradition in the United States. While some women opt for tranquil showers, others prefer events with socialization, games and prizes. For those who enjoy bridal fashion, there is a selection of wedding-themed fashion games to help celebrate the joyous occasion.
Bridal Fashion Memory Game
After mingling with guests, have the bride leave the room but do not announce her departure. Once she is in another room, the host hands out pens and paper and inquires guests about the bride-to-be's outfit. Examples of questions include "What color shoes is she wearing?" and "Was she wearing a skirt or slacks?" Guests receive a point for every correct answer, and the winner is the individual who scores the most points. Once finished, call the bride back into the room to show off her fashionable attire.
Paper Gowns
Divide guests into three teams, distribute four rolls of toilet paper to each team and set a timer for 20 minutes. During this time, allow teams to conjure up a wedding dress design. Each team needs to choose a "bride" and, using the remaining time, wrap him or her in the toilet paper (over clothing), attempting to replicate the dress the team designed. Once finished, have the player snap a photo with the bride-to-be. Alternatively, teams can use newspaper instead of toilet paper. Please note newspaper ink can rub off and stain skin and clothing.
Veil Crafts
Supply fabric, ribbon and accessories to guests and ask them to create their own veil. These veils can be modeled by the bride-to-be, or let her judge them by uniqueness. The veils can either be given to the bride for a momento of her shower, or for guests to take home as a reminder of this wedding fashion game.
Skirt Tails
Using clothes pins, have guests clip a single pin to the bottom of their pant legs or skirts and instruct them not to cross their legs. If a guest catches a peer crossing legs or ankles, he or she takes that individual's pin. The object of the game is to earn the most pins by the end of the bridal shower.
