Resorts In White River Ontario

White River is known as a rural community situated in Ontario, Canada. White River was formerly set up as a banister town on the Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 1800s. Roughly around 1960, White River was lastly made reachable by car via the Trans-Canada Highway. This rural community is known for being the residence of Winnie the Pooh. It is told that in the early 1900s a ensnared black cub surnamed Winnie was sold to a Captain named Colebourn in White River, who nicknamed the bear after his hometown, called Winnipeg.
