San Diego Cruises To Ensenada

Cruising is a comfortable way to visit Ensenada, Mexico.


Ensenada, Mexico, is a popular cruise port located on the Baja California coast, 68 miles south of the United States border. Carnival Cruise Line


As of the 2010 season, Carnival is the only cruise line that offers five- and six-day Baja California itineraries. Carnival's Baja cruises depart from the port of San Diego and travel to Ensenada, Mexico, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Ship amenities include casino, business center, pool with water slide, adults-only deck, child and teen areas, mini-golf, shopping, spa, show lounge and on-board restaurants. In August 2010, Carnival's five-night itinerary started at $279 per person for an interior stateroom.

Holland America Cruise Line


While Holland America cruise line does not currently offer cruises from San Diego to Baja, California and back, they do offer a cruise that stops in Ensenada en route to Hawaii. As of the 2010 season, Holland America offers a 14-day, round-trip Hawaii cruise from San Diego, California, with a stop in Ensenada, Mexico. Other cities visited include the Hawaiian port cities of Hilo, Honolulu, Nawiliwili, and Lahaina. Ship amenities include fitness center, spa, swimming pools, bars, lounges, showroom, on-board dining and kids play area. In August 2010, Holland America's 14-night itinerary started at $1,399 per person.

Celebrity Cruises


Like Holland America, Celebrity cruise line does not currently offer cruises from San Diego to Ensenada and back, but does stop in Ensenada en route to Hawaii. As of the 2010 season, Celebrity offers a 15-day round-trip Hawaii cruise on its ship, the Celebrity Century. The 15-day cruise visits Ensenada, and the Hawaiian islands of Maui, Kauai, Oahu and the Big Island. Ship amenities include spa, casino, swimming pool, martini bar, fitness center, showroom, business center and on-board restaurants. In August 2010, Celebrity's 15-night itinerary started at $1,949 per person.
