Scrapbook sayings and quotes add so much more to your scrapbook pages. Choose sayings that describe your layout. For instance, for your family vacation in Hawaii, a good saying would be "Our Family Trip to Hawaii" or "Skipping Across the Ocean." For your sister's wedding, choose "Julie's Big Day" or "Doug and Julie Tie the Knot."
Family
Choose plain, light-colored cardstock for your background. Glue one of your favorite family photos on the bottom of the page, and then use the top half of the page to fill with quotes from family members. Ask each person to write a short sentence about the day the photo was taken or about your family. Write down each quote and the person who said it, using a different color pen for each quote. You can also place the picture in the middle of the page and write a title or quote of your own, such as "Family Day," "My Brothers and Sisters," "Memories," or "The Kendle Family."
Wedding
Make your wedding scrapbook pages more meaningful with your wedding colors and vows.
Create a page that pops by choosing cardstock that matches your wedding colors. Use clear glitter glue to dress up the background. Choose three main wedding photos to feature: place two on the bottom half of the page and one in the middle above the other two. Fill empty space with dried flowers from your bouquet and a journal entry. Write a quote by your favorite poet, and write his name underneath. Add snippets from your own vows at the top of the page, and title your page "You Complete Me," "When Two Become One," "A Marriage Made in Heaven," or "My True Love."
Baby
Write down the first thing you said to your new daughter or son.
Choose plain or patterned cardstock in the colors of your baby's nursery. Glue one 5" by 7" photo of your new baby in the middle of the page. Glue baby's hospital bracelet, baby-inspired charms, and other embellishments on the page. Add a journal entry that contains your first words to your new baby. Add a quote of the first thing your husband said when he saw his new son or daughter. Label the page, "Our New Little Girl" or "Savannah's First Picture."
