As Disney World grows each year, incorporating more theme parks and places to eat, sleep and shop, choosing the right resort can be daunting. Much of your decision should be based on personal preference, but if you decide to really splurge, you should choose the best resort for you and your family. Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
The Grand Floridian Resort is Disney World's flagship resort, located close to the Magic Kingdom theme park. This Victorian-themed hotel sits on Seven Seas Lagoon, allowing guests to play on its white sands. The hotel's Grand Lobby stands five stories high, combining with the hotel's stained-glass domes to create an architectural marvel. The Grand Floridian offers two private pools, a shaded veranda and a full-service spa. There are six restaurants on site.

Polynesian Resort
The Polynesian Resort is a tropical-themed hotel with thatched-roof buildings, white-sand beaches and koi ponds. The resort strives for a Sea Pacific tranquility and warmth. It is across Seven Seas Lagoon from Magic Kingdom. The resort offers 847 luxury rooms in its Great Ceremonial House, as well as 11 private Longhouse villas. Each night, there is a Polynesian torch lighting ceremony. Other highlights include the resort's Nanea Volcano Pool, featuring a 40-foot replica of a volcano, and a Spirit of Aloha luau dinner show.

Wilderness Lodge
The Wilderness Lodge offers 727 rooms at its American Northwest-themed resort. The lodge is centered around the theme of early 1900s pioneer and Native American spirit. Among its features are an 82-foot fireplace, three restaurants, a geyser fashioned after Old Faithful, a club for guests and a special honeymoon suite. It sits on the shore of Bay Lake. The Wilderness Lodge also is home to private villas that can house up to eight people.
