Holiday Parade at the Beach


Bring in the holiday season with a traditional holiday parade on the beach. Thousands of people line up on Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach to get a view of the parade. Marching bands and dance troupes strut their stuff to holiday sounds. Children point in awe at floats designed with sparkling lights, illuminating the parades path. Santa Claus comes down Atlantic Avenue as to close the parade.

Hunt Club Farm Winter Wonderland


Hunts Farm includes a farmer's market, petting zoo and a dog kennel. The farm hosts many events throughout the year. During the winter, Hunts Club Farm becomes a winter wonderland filled with decorative holiday lights and nativity scenes with live animals. Visitors can also enjoy a children's maze, petting zoo and eating roasted marshmallows and drinking hot apple sitting by the bonfire.

McDonald's Holiday Lights at the Beach


McDonald's and nTelos Wireless jointly present a holiday light show extravaganza at the Boardwalk. This is the only time of the year guests are allowed to drive their vehicles onto the Boardwalk. While listening to the holiday CD that is given to each car at entry, viewers see colorful fish, dolphins and Santa light up the night sky.
