Spongebob Valentine'S Games

Valentine's Day is a good time to have fun and play games.

SpongeBob Square Pants is a lovable yellow sponge cartoon character marketed to kids but loved by adults as well. SpongeBob lives in a pineapple under the sea and works as a fry cook at the "Krusty Krab" restaurant. His best friend is Patrick Star and there are a host of other lovable characters on the Nickelodeon Network show. Kids who are fans of the show will enjoy SpongeBob games at any time of the year. Valentine's Day is a holiday that encourages people to express love. Kids can show their love for the show and the characters through fun Valentine's Day games.

Spongebob Valentine's Day Party Games

A Spongebob Square Pants Valentine's party can be enhanced with fun party games. Invite guests to participate in a Spongebob "Krabby Patty" Valentine's relay race. Spongebob works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab which is famous for its Delicious "Krabby Patty" hamburgers. Prior to guests arriving, cut pieces of construction paper into "ingredients" for a "Krabby Patty." Make tan circles for hamburger buns, red circles for tomato slices, and smaller brown circles for hamburger patties, along with green lettuce and other ingredients. Divide guests into two teams. One player from each team must run to a table and pick up an ingredient, return it to the team and tag the next person in line who will do the same thing. Inform the players as to how many of each type of ingredient they must retrieve (two bun halves, one hamburger, etc). After all the ingredients have been retrieved the team must make a "Krabby Patty" with the ingredients in a designated order. The first team to complete the task wins. Inform the losing team that they must go to work at the "Chum Bucket" which is the competing restaurant to the "Krusty Krab." You can also have teams compete to make a "Krabby Patty" by supplying them with colored dough that they must roll and form into the ingredients of a "Krabby Patty."

Spongebob Valentine's Quiet Games

Include quiet Spongebob Valentine's games to your celebration. Quiet games are a good way to keep kids occupied and settled down after active games or to keep them quiet for indoor play. Create a word find or crossword puzzle using Spongebob themed words. Some words that could be used are: Patrick Star, Sandy (Spongebob's squirrel friend), Pearl (Mr. Krab's daughter) and Bikini Bottom (the city they live in). Use Valentine's words such as heart, Valentine's and love in the games as well. Use Spongebob and heart stickers to embellish the papers.

Spongebob Valentine's Online Games

Create an online Spongebob Square Pants Valentine's Treasure Hunt Game. The game should be geared toward adults who have access to the Internet or children who want to play with adult assistance. The game can be played by friends who may be separated by miles but have access to the Internet. Ask players to find Spongebob and Valentine's related images and information online. All players should copy and paste the URL of the page where the information was found, as well as where on the page it was located. For instance, ask players to find a picture of a red heart or of Spongebob kissing someone or to find a website with a recipe for a "Krabby Patty." The first player to find all the items on the list wins the game. Spongebob Valentine's games are also available online during the month of February on Nick.com.

Other Spongebob Valentine's Games

Help children go "Jellyfishing" on Valentine's Day. Jellyfishing is a popular sport in Bikini Bottom and something that Spongebob enjoys doing during his downtime. Create jellyfish out of pink construction paper and attach a paper clip to them. Create red construction paper hearts too, and add a paper clip to them as well. Put all the jellyfish and the hearts into a bucket. Make a fishing pole out of a dowel stick and some yarn. Attach a magnet to the end of the string and let children go "jellyfishing" in the bucket. If a player "catches" a jellyfish, allow him to choose a prize from a stash of Spongebob licensed gear such as stickers or pencils. If he "catches" a heart, let him choose a prize from a Valentine's stash including candy and small Valentine's figurines. You can also create a Spongebob Valentine's game by previewing the Spongebob Valentine's Day special and making notes of items for children to locate. Then, let them watch the show and see if they can spot the items on the list.
