Restaurants With Special Events In Waikiki Hawaii

Visitors can enjoy dinner and live events on Waikiki Beach.

Duke's Waikiki restaurant is named after Duke Kahanamoku, an Olympic gold medalist who grew up in Waikiki and is best known for prowess in surfing and swimming. The restaurant is situated on Waikiki's beachfront and serves breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and dinner. Visitors are treated with special events comprised of live performances during the weekends. Local musicians and bands perform music and dance to entertain guests. Patrons can expect to hear Hawaiian music from performers like Henry Kapono, Maunalua, Kona Chang Duo and Tahite Rey Duo.


Chart House Waikiki


Opened in 1969, this restaurant overlooks the serene Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. You might visit Chart House to sample an island-style dinner as you take in panoramic sunset views and watch live contemporary entertainment shows. The restaurant hosts special events and performances of local musicians like Mark Yim's Pilikia I and II, Tito Berinobis and Billy Beimes, and Dean and Dean. Shore Bird


Shore Bird is located beachfront at the lobby level of the Outrigger Reef Hotel. You can drop in for dinner and grill your own entrees to your preference as you enjoy picturesque views of Diamond Head. Platters of steaks and seafood arrive at your table along with grilling instructions. Enjoy a special singalong karaoke event as you try local favorites like tako, poi, poke and haupia--you can choose from more than 10,000 songs and sing with your family, friends or a romantic date.


Tiki's Grill and Bar


You can enjoy views of Waikiki Beach as you dine amidst colorful island-inspired decor and various tikis at the Tiki's Grill and Bar. The restaurant maintains a monthly events calendar full of live entertainment and shows. Local musicians like Vaihi, Kunoa, UnNatural and Ellsworth Simeona perform Hawaiian jams on various nights. Participate in Tiki Taco Tuesdays or Open Mic Night with Johnny Helm. Open mic nights allow local and visiting artists to share artworks of music, poetry or paintings.
