The Maplewood Resort in Eagle River is on the south shore of Dam Lake, and it provides on-site boating ramps and slips for its guests. Fishing boat and canoe rentals are available at Maplewood Resort. Off-site recreational areas include the American Legion State Forest, which offers hiking trails less than 10 minutes from the resort.
