Red Carpet
In order to have a Red Carpet Affair, you must have a red carpet for guests to walk on to make their grand entrance. If a real red carpet is not available, use a roll of vinyl table covering as a red carpet. Alternately, use some red butcher paper on a roll. This will only work if you are using it indoors. Have guests make their way down the red carpet upon arriving to the party.
Interviews
Hire friends to serve as reporters trying to get an interview from each of the guests as they arrive at the party. A real digital video camera and microphone will not only be authentic, but the camera will capture some great interview moments that will be entertaining to watch either during the party or for the honored guest to enjoy after the party has concluded.
Hand and Foot Prints
It may not be Grauman's Chinese Theater, but you can still have a good time creating your own version of the Walk of Fame. If you have children as guests, create a craft table where they can trace their hands and feet on construction paper. After the guests have traced their hands and feet, cut them out and mount on contrasting colored paper and have guests sign their names. Hang the completed prints on the wall.

Have a variety of stars for guests to choose from and be sure to have someone who is the designated photographer to capture all the photo opportunities.
