Makeup Techniques For Hawaiian Party

You can use special makeup techniques for a Hawaiian party.

Parties are fun because you can let your hair down, enjoy friends and meet new people. If you have been invited to a luau or a Hawaiian party, you want to wear the appropriate clothes and makeup to add to the festivities. There are a few different things you can do with your makeup to enhance your Polynesian maiden or seductive Hawaiian pinup girl look. After choosing your outfit, you can then begin to gather makeup supplies that will enhance your whole look. Does this Spark an idea?

Vibrant Tropical Eyeshadow

Use vibrant eye shadow and lipstick for a Hawaiian Party.

Wear vibrant tropical colors as part of your makeup. A Hawaiian party calls for green, turquoise, Aztec gold, azalea, amethyst, ocean frost, or other pretty shade for the eyes. In fact, you can wear several shades of eye shadow blended together well and make quite an impression.

Eyeliner and Mascara

Make your eyes stand out with eyeliner and mascara.

It is best to put your eye shadow on first and blend it together well, with no evident hard lines. Then use black eyeliner to define your eyes. You can draw it on a bit thicker and longer than you usually do, since it is for a party. After curling your eyelashes, apply two to three coats of mascara. Then use your eyeliner or use an eyebrow pencil to define your eyebrows.

Luscious Lipstick

Luscious lipstick will finish off your Hawaiian party look.

Pale lipstick is definitely not cool for a Hawaiian party. Instead wear bright reds, plums and pinks. Outline your lips to be a little fuller than your real lips. Fill in the lip color with a lip brush. You can layer a few shades to come up with a new luscious color. Make sure that your lips complement and do not fight with your eye makeup. If the eye makeup is very heavy, go a little lighter on the lip color. Blot your lips and finish is off with a coat of lip gloss.
